Eating it with breakfast is fine. Yeah, watermelon is a high sugar fruit, but it is mostly water and certainly a healthy food to eat.
However, watermelon alone as breakfast is going to leave you might hungry pretty soon afterwards. There's just not a enough substance to it to keep you satisfied, plus the sugars in it will make you crave more.
So eat it with something that will stick to you, like oatmeal or eggs or maybe some yogurt or cottage cheese, and have the melon on the side.

Well - watermelon isn't bad per se, but although it's mostly water, it deosn't really have a lot of benefits, either. It's very low in calories, but it has a high ratio of sugar to nutrient density.
Basically, although it's not bad for you, you're not going to feel full a few hours after you eat it, because it's not really very nourishing. There are few vitamins and minerals in it - it's prtty much just water and sugar. If you like melon, try cantaloupe instead - blueberries are a great, healthy addition to breakfast too.

It does have a lot of sugar in it.
Natural sugar, but it is mainly made of sugar and water.
It isn't good for breakfast as it gets metabolized very quickly and leaves you hungry a little while later.
It has really nothing in it vitamin wise... You would be better off with a form of citrus fruit.

Oddly enough, you would think watermelon would be good for you, but it is not. Watermelon rates very high on the gylcimic index. That means once ingested, it causes your body to secrete insulin. This in turn causes your body to stop metabolizing fat. A cantalope is better. If you google glycemic index, you will see which foods are high in the index (the ones you need to avoid) those which are medium (try to eat vey little of) those low (eat as much as you like).
I hope this helps.
