I would say that if you look at the media and really think about how Jesus and Christians are portrayed I would say they are hated on. Just think there have been movies saying that Jesus was gay and had sex with the apostles, there have been constant attempts to remove Christmas from the public eye, and many other examples. The one time there was a cartoon printed that dared to even draw the profit Mohammed the entire Muslim world went crazy. The plain truth is that Jesus came into the world to be Hated and Abused even though he could have conquered all he instead sacrificed himself. He taught that his followers should "turn the other cheek". I know that would have been hard to do when being fed to lions or crucified as many of the early Christians were. In Saudi Arabia and many other Muslim countries in the world even possessing Christian material is a punishable offense sometimes even getting a death penalty. These people are lucky because they get to "turn the other cheek" and die for their beliefs and become a martyr and enter heaven as a chosen believer. Personally it does not bother me at all when people "hate" on Christians because that is our role in the world.... to be hated and love the hater right back.

No one likes to be misunderstood. Christians wouldn't like it if the public at large accepted David Koresh or the Ku Klux Klan as representatives of their whole faith. That said, there are some legitimate reasons to criticize Islam and the actions of some of its followers, and those comments shouldn't be dismissed along with the mindless hate speech.

I don't hate Muslims, but there are a lot of Muslims who hate me. If you will recall that is how all this got started in the first place. Muslims decided to kill as many Americans as possible for no better reason than the fact that we are Americans. It is ridiculous that your twisted little brain can turn that around and say that we are the ones with all the hate.

True Christians do not hate, so if someone is claiming to be a Christian and showing hatred towards anyone, they are not a Christian. The term Christian means a follower of Jesus. Jesus taught us to love each other - even our enemies. Christians must be loving and compassionate toward all human kind. There is a lot of hatred on this site and it goes against many different groups - not just Muslims. There are Jesus haters, Allah haters, racists, etc. The whole world would be a better place if everyone learned to love and accept one another.

Christians, at least the fanatical ones, cry persecution all the time when they can't get their agenda passed. They cry about being hated and crucified and all that but they see no problem in doing it to others. It is good that I am not religious. :)

We all need to grow up. Unfortunately it is the people who preach about god who create all the problems.

Americans have to hate someone...first the native americans, then blacks, then communists now muslims. It is unfortunatly something that our government needs to thrive if there isnt a group to hate then our government doesnt have as much power. That is why our government LOVED 9/11 it gave them an excuse to start hating other people.
