I have never really been religious, but a lot has happened in the past two years that has made me go back to my roots. I want to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kipur. However I do not know what to do.
Can anyone give me like a procedure, checklist or something so that I can participate in the holidays the correct way. I have no idea what I am supposed to have or do.

Good for you for going back to your roots! Try to find a Reform Temple that could help you. You do not have to make a commitment but they could answer your questions. Rosh Hashanah is a happy day. On Yom Kippur their are more rules. You are supposed to fast, not do anything like shopping, etc. Tell the rabbi at the temple (make sure it is reformed, not orthodox) that you need some help in this and I'm sure they will give you info and welcome you with open arms. Shanah Tovah!

Try chabad.org, or ask a Rabbi. Or get invited to someone religious, they'll take care of everything.
