The true Christian church can be trusted to the extent that fallible human beings with good intentions can be trusted. The true church is made up of all those individuals who have received the Holy Spirit of God and been "born again" by the regeneration of the indwelling presence of God's Spirit.

Can each of these individuals be trusted to give accurate interpretations of Scripture and to pass along sound doctrine? Unfortunately not. Not because they are engaging in willful deception but because many people are influenced by flawed doctrines and teachings and traditions that have been passed down to them from those who came before and they don't take the time to compare them to what is written in the Bible.

Can they all be trusted to live up to their personal promises? Again the answer is no because often times people say things without qualifying it with the statement "If it's in the Lord's will..." as they are told to do by James the Elder.

James 4:15 Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that."

So who can you trust and in what areas? Well, you can trust in the good intentions of true Christians. But the Scriptures provide the definitive answer to that question.

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. 6 He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. 7 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. 8 He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? 10 "I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds."

The answer depends on the definition you use for "the Christian church". If you mean God's true church which is made of all those on earth who truly follow God, then yes the Christian church is trustworthy. If by Christian church you mean a particular denomination then you have a group of people comprised by many who are not truly followers of Christ and then you have an organization that is not 100% trustworthy. Some denominations are more trustworthy than others. The challenge each of us faces is to find that one that stands out above all the others and put our resources behind that one. Which one do you think is the most trustworthy and which is the least trustworthy? it may take some research. That has to be based on which ones teach the keeping of all of the ten commandments and have the faith of Jesus. Look at all the main denominations of at least 10 million members world wide or at least 1 million members in the US and you will find the one.

the respond relies upon on the definition you employ for "the Christian church". in case you mean God's real church it relatively is created from all those on earth who relatively persist with God, then sure the Christian church is elementary. If by Christian church you mean a undeniable denomination then you certainly've a team of folk comprised by many that're no longer relatively followers of Christ after which you have a company that's no longer a hundred% elementary. some denominations are greater elementary than others. The project each and each human beings faces is to come across that one that stands proud many times the others and positioned our aspects at the back of that one. Which one do you think of is the main elementary and it relatively is the least elementary? it may take a sprint study. That must be according to which of them practice the keeping of all the ten commandments and have the religion of Jesus. look in any respect the main denominations of a minimum of 10 million contributors international extensive or a minimum of a million million contributors interior the U. S. and you will discover the single.

No, the Christian church is not trustworthy. The Christian church or at least a percentage of it's clergy has a long history of sexually abusing children. This does not in itself make the church untrustworthy but when the church leaders close ranks and protects the abuser rather than the innocent child victim, then that does make the church untrustworthy.

Only the true church is trustworthy. If you notice however, that whenever christian church is mentioned automatically the Catholic church is assumed. Well, the catholic church among most of the other christian denominations are not following God's word the Bible, well not in full and they are compromising with alot of things. However, God always has a true church, and one people who follow his truth alone not different versions of his truth. If you seek and ask GOd you will find it if you want to.

It really depend on the people who in it. Some Church have proven tobe trustworthy but we can't deny the facts that there are quite many church whom the most important thing in their mind is how to make all human became christian, and consider other religion to be somekind of hoax. I feel these kind of churchs is pathetic and close-minded and only make our problematic situation in Lebanon, Pakistan, Afganistan, Iraq, ect became worse. Sad....It's so sad to know that these kind of ignorant people are quite many in this world =p

That is a hard question to answer because churches are different. I have no reason not to trust my church, but at the same time I have heard stories about corruption and stuff like that in other churches.

A Church - I'm not talking about the religion, but about the institution - is an entity that deals with power. As such it is constantly involved in self justification and self perpetuation.
How trustworthy do you think such an organization is? More than for instance political parties?

Can any 'Human' organization be 'Trusted', in all that it says & dose 100%?

But I would say: the Christian Church is probably trustworthier than most organisations, especially if compared against: ‘Government’!!

That question is a little too broad. There are many different Christian churches, some I would say no, others I would say yes.
