I have been having terrible nausea in the late afternoon/night.
Has anyone else had this as a side effect from caffeine?
I always drank cokes throughout the day and never felt this.(no,I'm not pregnant)...

I still have it when I don't drink coffee but not as intense...

I have occasionally had this problem in the late morning if I drank a whole lot of coffee, didn't get a good night's sleep the night before, and didn't eat anything.

I would cut back on the caffeine and see if that makes a difference.

well first off not getting the right nutrition in your body through out the day and the caffine from the coffee does not help when you drink it on an empty stomach. first try drinking some water and take some pepto bismol. you should start feeling a little better so try and eat something. not anything to big maybe like some fruit or veggies and dip that should do the trick.

If you can't cut out the cokes, at least switch to diet. You are drinking too much sugar, and could be on the slippery slope to developing diabetes.

I had similar reaction when doing glucose tolerance test when pregnant.

bot really... the caffeine would have been long gone out of your system when you get ready to go to bed
maybe something you've eaten for lunch /dinner?
stress?
GERD?
something new at home that bothers your system?
any afternoon meds?
a Ulcer?

go get it checked out by your Doctor to be sure its something simple and correctable

It could be a number of things. Not eating the proper diet could be one of them. You need to see a doctor.

no, normally you won't, but some people may be allergic to something. It all depends on individual health
