i have a private unlisted and unpublished number and someone has gotten it. This is not the first time but I refuse to continue to pay for an unlisted number if just any body can get it.

yes, sad but true....you can get everything if you pay....I had an unlisted...unpublished phone number...and ppl got it! I was so mad, because I pay for that service to have peace in my house...I got now VoIP broadband phone service...and nothing ever gets listed...there is absolutely not trace of it...and I love it! I also had called BellSouth, but they didn't care a bit! they all just want your money...right!

Did you give it to the nice clerk at a retail establishment? They sell the info every day. Tell the caller that you have a unlisted and unpublished number and you would like your number REMOVED from their list. If they give you any BS ask for their manager. If you can find out where they bought their list so you can contact that company. I also threaten a law suite against them for disturbing my privacy, the privacy I paid for. That has worked many times. Also get on the Federal DO NOT CALL LIST.

Zaba Search publishes public & private information for a fee. I've found unlisted numbers that way.

The phone company won't give it out....another company has gotten ahold of it ...lkike the one above..and published it.

I've used people search before to find people, and it gave me their unlisted # and address.

Is it unlisted and unpublished? It has to be both so that no one can obtain it.
