It was on news in America like 2-3 months ago bout a bunch of iraqi civillians killed a bunch of men, women, and children because they were "leaking secrets to Osama" or something. This is exactly what usa did in veitnam. they enjoy butchering innocent people. I believe they did and I believe Bush and our department of homeland security is covering it up.

Yes I do. I don't believe they snapped because they went from home to home to home killing everyone. One of the homes had six children in one room ... they shot every child, some of them in the head. They should be charged and sentenced to life long jail time, them and everyone who approved their acceptance to the army in the first place.

Unfortunately, it looks as if the Marines did shoot up civilians. While we may never know the real circumstances behind this tragedy, if these Marines are guilty, they all need a short trip for a very long stay at Levinworth.
I wish war was not as messy, but it is. Things like this will happen. As American Soldiers, all civilians are innocent until they pick up arms against us. If they do, then they have made themselves combatants.
If these Soldiers are found guilty, there is no excuse for them, if they are found innocent, there will never be rest for them. Either way, they lose even if they are truly innocent.
I will always side with my fellow Soldiers until proven guilty by jury or action.
All I can say is "May God have mercy on their souls"

First off have you ever served in the armed forces. If not how do you really know what its like. I have family members that have and still do. They can tell you stories that you wouldn't believe . But never have they said they shot for fun. And sometimes looks are decieving. Kids and women have been known to blow soldiers up with strap-on bombs .Ask a Veitnam vet. I don't believe half of the media . I do believe the ones that served and put their lives on the line . Ask them.

Yeah, and i believe that you need to check your sources and show a little more respect for the people who risk there lives every day. The USA Military has a little more Pride and a lot more Respect for this country and themselves. They do not ENJOY butchering innocent people!!! And what is innocent to you, may not be innocent to someone who actually knows what they are fighting for. Last time i checked, aiding terrorists isn't innocent. Lastly, this is war! Civilians will be killed, it is regrettable, but inevitable. Look at all those American civilians that everybody seems to forgotten, who died when your precious terrorists attacked my country on Sept. 11.

I guess the shameful truth is really hard for many narrow minded people to accept. Here in Europe, people know that it has happened. Give the soldiers the benefit of the doubt. If they are in courts martial, let them have their trial.
That being said, I think that it would be a rare occurence to see this in out modern military. But as for murdering children, I think this would be an extreme longshot to happen. I understand and can understand women, with the way that suicide bombers are doing things. It may not be as inherent to automatically not even think of shooting a civilian woman. But the insurgents changed the style of attacks, and the soldiers SHOULD change their observations and tactics.

The truth of the matter is that Zarqawi called Kerry and Murtha and told them it was American soldiers butchering Iraqi civilians and since the American left has allied itself with al queda they just ate up the story, sent it to the New York times and put our soldiers in prison bonds at the word of our enemy. Good for liberals, at least they want constituional rights for Guantanamo prisoners.

Oh I totally believe it, and you know what, who cares. Iraqi's let ******* come into their country blow themselves up, Iraqi's throw rocks back and forth at Americans. Eh, maybe we should just indiscriminatly(sp?) fire bomb the entire country, hell, why not unleash nukes, and then no one will be doing anything to anyone.
