They are both simple and easy to use. Only takes I guess MAX an entire day to learn them. First off, when I learned how to use Excel in grade 9 the teacher made us go to the Microsoft Website and take some tutorials. Look it up, they are simple and worth it if you are trying to get a good job. And btw Word is extremely easy to learn, I just did it on my own when I was like 4.

Is it a question? Word and Excel are widely used, so they are very good to learn if you are working in almost any office job. I would recommend learning Word before Excel. Check http://www.microsoft.com for more information.
