why do terrorists think that killing people is okay with God?

They claim they are killing people for Islam but if their religion agrees with killing innocent people and sometimes their own people, something is wrong.The God I know is a loving and forgiving God.God can and will take care of justice without their help.

First I want to say that I agree with all the people who responded to this question. I do believe God is Mercy and Love and forgiveness and peace, and I do believe people killing others in the name of any ideology is craziness. But I need to clear to you that these people don't do it in the name of Islam. They do it in defense of what they believe is their only way of existense. These suiciders come from oppressed countries, occupied by what they believe to be an enemy who's using their land, its riches and depriving them of their human right. They are all deppressed maniacs. The US law lets many people get away with murder for temporary insanity.. these suisiders are permenantly insane .. and the bad news is that there are so many of them and increasing by the minute (watch the little children observing the dead on th streets and helping carry the corpses over their heads and made to kiss bloody faces). I wish someone finds a solution for these things. Islam has nothing to do with it except the fact that its Quran states that if you die defending your land or country, you're entitled to Heaven.

Why do soldiers think that killing people is ok with God? Why does the justice system think killing people is ok with God? We each have to make the individual choice to be the best person we can be and to honor all life. Where do you personally draw the line?

I read somewhere that if one of their own people gets killed while killing their enemy that they go down in a blaze of glory so to say - they become hero's in their religion. I think the overall killing has to do with ridding the world of the 'unpure' in their eyes - those who are not their religion are not worthy and it's their right to remove them.

The American Journalist who was kidnapped - Jill Carroll - she is writing a very good piece on her ordeal which is where i got the above info from - she was in very close quarters with her Islam captors - you can read about it at the below website. They are killing "in the name of God" because they don't know their own religion and should sit down and read the quran carefully and not make stupid decisions. The word "jihad" doesn't mean to literally start killing people just because they're not muslim. It means to fight for your RIGHTS. Meaning, if I want to go out and walk around in my head scarf (hijab) then nobody has the right to tell me otherwise. I should be strong in my faith. These "muslims" should take a look at themselves and see if they pray five times a day before pointing fingers and beheading innocent news reporters.

They make me sick and they make muslims look bad.

This is true but some people misinterpret the scriptures and might think that because God commanded the Israelites to slaughter entire nations that this is also their calling. God himself also killed many people. ie: the flood, the exodus and many more.

Unfortunately the Bible and Koran contain commands to kill. Fortunately Western Countries no longer allow their christian citizens to Burn Witches, Kill heathens or Kill Homosexuals as the Bible commands. Unfortunately some Islamic countries are not able to successfully enforce laws which are in conflict with the Koran.

There are people in every walk of life that kill other people in the name of God. Not everyone is always in their right minds and able to act like the majority of the world. You are going to have "crazies" in every walk of life and every religion. I think most of the nuts are doing it for the 15 seconds of fame and the other nuts are just nuts and can't get their brains to think right.
