I'm from Bulgaria which (hopefully) enters the EU in 2007. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and study in a Master's in Cognitive Science. I have the Cambridge FCE completed.

No, I don't know of any scholarships. But there are some courses, though I would recommend that you would be, along with the course, a lot around the locals there and listen very carefully. Icelandic is pretty difficult language, specially the pronunciation. Do you now anything already because if you would only be there for a short time that would help.
Vona að þetta hjálpi eitthvað.

I studied Icelandic for a month-long course. There were no scholarships, but as I recall it was surprisingly affordable ... and they arranged for housing. I suspect it was subsidized by the Icelandic government or something. They also arranged for day trips on a couple of the Saturdays, which were great tourist opportunities! And I'll bet people through this Institute would know a lot more about opportunities for studying in Iceland during the school year.

The above web site refers to the Summer 2006 program, but it is an annual offered class.

Have fun! Iceland is fantastic!

Hi! I kne Haskoli Islands (the University of Iceland) had such a program. They also had a correspondence course. Check with their website;maybe they still do. But may I remind you Iceland is not an EU country and deoes not mean to be for the near future. Although it does belong to the Schengen Space.
Good luck to you!
