Does this occur with standing or sudden change of position. I suspect orthostatic hypotension.

Well, I use to get that a lot. I would get it through out the whole day but only a few seconds at a time. I have had it for years, then it happened, I was diagnosed with Diabetes. It happens less and less now since I'm on medication and Insulin's now. It still comes back if I have too much sugars in my system. Well that is my story, anyways it could be a few things. You should check with your Doctor.

I experience the same exact thing, I get the same thing, I felt like i was describing it when i read the question. I play three sports, football, basketball, and I run hurdles in track, am 176 lb. 6'1, I'm 16, and I eat healthy, I don't skip meals, i am a health nut, i took medical classes like nutrition, and physiology, so i know a lot about the body, but I did get them where I get like headed and my muscles feel weak. I was the only one who did that, as far as i knew. One time, I was sitting down for about a half hour in the weight room at my school, I was playing my PSP waiting for my brother when I got up when we were going to leave, I got up quickly and It happened for a second, then everything blacked out, my brother woke me up and my friends were scared, he said I collapsed but he woke me right away, so i was out about 3 seconds. I didn't feel me fall or hit the ground. And my head was right next to some weights, I could've cracked my skull, I was shaken up after that. That was the worst it's ever been, because i never fainted in my life. My diet has always been good, I was never afriad to eat. But sometimes i just don't, because I never have the time to. Any time I got up too quick after my brain has been watching t.v., almost inactive, and i get up quickly, It happens, I hadn't got blurry and light-headed in a while, probably like half a year. From a medical standpoint, which i am familiar with, you will get light-headed if you don't have enough to eat, it is low-blood pressure. Blood, is like a delivery truck, and veins are like highway, oxygen is the cargo, it is energy for muscles, and when you have low blood pressure, you oxygen can't get sent to the brain, and when your brain is deprived of oxygen, you faint, get dizzy, etc. With low blood pressure, your body can't deliver the oxygen to the nutrients, in turn you're weaker. Honestly, I don't think it is but might be related, I am one of the healthiest people I know, I don't experience it anymore, though. You are starving yourself and that is not healthy. What your whole day's meal was like a fraction of my lunch today. But thinking back, I think it was my diet. Thank you, It relieves me to hear this. I hope I was helpful.
