If the account was closed by the credit grantor, then more than likely not. If you closed the account, then it might be possible, but you would have to call the creditor and see if they would be willing to open a new account for you, or re-open the account.

Be careful, as the creditor will pull a credit report on you in either case, as if it is a new credit application, and it will count as a hard pull on your credit report.

You can NOT reopen a CLOSED Account -- it remains closed. However, if you have paid off your credit accounts, you can reapply for a NEW account and go through the approval process once again.

PooPooLa is really heading in the right direction. the in simple terms difficulty i'd not trust is slicing up the cardboard. keep it & purchase a tank of gasoline or some groceries each couple months & pay it off each month. at present, banks were both reducing credit limits or remaining the acct altogether in case you do not use the cardboard. both one in all those situation's will harm, because it is going to advance your commonly used revolving (mastercard) utilization. no be counted what percentage playing cards you've, use them each and each sporadically to keep the banks chuffed, and keep the accts paid in finished to keep your FICO ratings chuffed.

I'm not real sure, but they may want to open a new account. If you have a statement or the card, call the Customer Service number and they should know.

Nope.

You'll need to ask for another credit card.

The good side is that some of them are giving up to 6 months without interest !

Good luck !

Every lender is diffrent. If you paid because it was closed in a negative status I would say they would not re-open it. Try another lender. Household bank is a good one.
