i once lit up a cows fart and it blew up?can this happen to people too?i have a girlfriend who wants to try it

I light my farts all the time when down the pub, just make sure you brew up a good ripper as you need the pressure to prevent light back, if you singe your ring it can get quite itchy for a few days, a good mixture of baked beans and onions the with a few bottles of newcastle brown the day before really preps up the old flame thrower. seriously. you won't ever explode as you have no oxygen up your butt.

I'm sure you didn't blow up the whole cow did you!! It is the methane in a fart that ignites, and for that to happen it needs oxygen, which is what the farty methane mixes with when it comes out. And yes, people fart out methane too. The safest way to do this, if you must, is in a bath, and hold a match over where the bubbles rise. Otherwise, the only danger of doing this to your girlfriend is that you could in burn her bum hol- - - - - - hang on, how old are you???????

this would be a very humour and exciting experiment for a cow AND a human fart to be tried to be blown up as there both very different with different gasses which r made from what we eat so i think the answer meby will be no but it wud be funny to watch

The worst thing that can happen is a 2nd degree burn on the inside of your anal lining. I have seen it done with no side effects, but I am sure hesitant to try it.

They can catch fire, as it is a form of methane gas. The colour of a fart, I'm reliantly told, is blue, from the hole out!

Depends on what kind of ignitor you use. Are we talking regular Bic lighter or one of those refillables? I would suggest those really long matches you buy for your fireplace....this way if the flame gets out of control, it will on last as long as the matchstick. Good luck...and oh, remind your girl to shave.....I would hate for you to have to smell burning pubes.....
