Im 22 years old and I work for one of the big 4 consulting firms. Im like one of the youngest guys at the firm. I really dont get a lot of play from the ladies around the office because it's a very strict sexual harrassment policy, plus a lot of the women around here are married. However, this woman who works in Tax control brought her 19yr old daughter to work one day. We kinda locked eyes but nothing reall substancial. Yesterday her mom told me "My daughter thinks your really cute" So I told her to call me. I felt kind of wired after we talked because it seems like it could turn into something serious, but the fact still remains I work with her mother. Should I feel funny about the situation. Another funny thing is she works in a hospital with one of my ex (High school sweetheart) who at one time was pregnant with a lil' Dr. Love. (Small world) But they dont know each other(Its a big hospital). How should I recieve the situation?

The girl's mother told you what she said so obviously she is fine with it. If you like the girl I would ask her out and procede cautiously. You don;t want too many Lil' Dr. Loves running around...lol.

If this female's mother is your superior, then it would really be a crap shoot to date her, but if not, at the worst you risk having a coworker not like you and they don't all like you anyway. And the fact that she works at a hospital where your ex works is neither here nor there. Go for it.

i would feel wierd to but...if it turns into something seriouse make sure that the mom dosent find out if you brake up because then she may do something at work! But...if she is a mature mom then she will be fine with everything!

well i know how you fell because my bosses son asked me out i decided not to because it was my "bosses" son. My advice is if it is a boss dont do it but if it is just another co worker then i say go for it.
