Actually most of that is false. First both Christians and Islam believe in the same god. They both even believe in Jesus they just differ on his position. Christians believe he is the son of God and Muslims believe he is a messenger of God. Please tell me what war was fought by Christians. The wars in the middle east are against Muslims and Jews. Even these wars are not based on religion they have deeper meanings if you want to look into that you will see.

True Christainity is not like Islam, Many so called Christains really do not live the life that they should. And that puts a bad taste in some people mouth about Christains. True Christains will not go against God's word. My Faith started 2000 yrs. ago with a man called Jesus, Islam faith started about 400 yrs. later. The God I serve does not tell me to go out & kill people like Muslums & Islams does. So every True Christian is not like Islam.

Except they do not believe G-d and Jesus are the same.

They are alot alike because they both come from Abrahamic cultures, as also are the Jews.

Lost Soul------to anwer your question-------

The Crusades were the most horrific wars ever-------thousand upon thousands died because of the bloody war fought across Europe and into the Mid-east. These Christians killed Jews, and Muslims, and when they captured Jerusalem, they killed everyone there-including Christians. No Jew or Muslim has ever been this horrible.

Islam teaches to kill the infidel, which is anyone that doesn't believe as they do. Christian wars were fought in the long past over religion ,but they are to enlightened to be so ignorant now. True religion seeks peace. We don't confuse government with religion. We seek to bring justice to the oppressed.

there is little similarities. The Message od Islam is to place as much as Allah and settle for Mohammad because of the fact the final prophet. The Message of Christianity is to love God and love one yet another. whilst Muslims say they understand Jesus as a prophet of Allah, they do no longer persist together with his teachings and don't think that he rose from the ineffective. in fact, Muslims have self assurance that the Bible is corrupt and don't persist with it.

Both believe in the Old Testament.

And yes there have been some bad Christians in the past, we seem to admit where our ancestors failed and have our house in order now.

I am waiting for the Muslims to do the same.

Peace!

Both religions originated in the Holy Land. That's where it all happened.

They both worship the same god, that's why. Christianity, Islam, and Judaism can trace their religious roots back to Abraham (if you know your bible, you should know about that guy). It's just that, at one point, the three split from one another.
