Here's the deal. I spent this weekend with a really close friend of mine, and we ended up getting even closer (if you know what i mean). Things were fine until today when we both went to work and had to go our separate directions so to speak, which is when then question of what is going on between us came up. (But unfortunately we don't work close to each other so had to put the conversation on hold.)

I'm pretty sure she likes me and I definitely like her and would love to be more than just friends. We are both obviously a bit apprehensive cause we don't want to jeopardise our friendship. I'm speaking to her later on, this evening, and just want advice on what I can say to :
a) make her realise that I am genuinly a nice guy and not out for one thing,
b) make her think that maybe we should try giving things a go,
and failing all that
c) make sure things aren't awkward and weird from now on.

Any help anyone can offer would really help stop my head from spinning!! Thanks

Just tell he what you want. Tell her you wanna give it a try, but if it doesn't work out you dont want to loose her as a friend.

Actually, a combination of all 3 things would be very appropriate and move the conversation along well, ease any awkwardness, and let her know that you do care about her. If you really want to give things a go, put that out there. Good luck.

Don't try to make her think you're a good guy--she'll figure that out on her own...if you try too hard to prove that, she'll think you're trying to cover something up. Be 100% honest with her. Tell her how you feel, and that you'd like to give things a try, and you don't want things to be awkward at work. Good luck!

Ok.Just act like always, but with a happiness in your voice. Tell her exactly how you feel and tell her that no matter what happens, you will always be her friend above anything else(Boyfriend, etc) This sounds so nice and romantic and I really hope everything works out!!!!Good luck!!!Im so excited for you!!!

If you love her, she will need you by her side. That means option one in your list. But really try to make things work out.

But be honest to her, if you just wanted a once-in-a-lifetime thing only, tell her that.

Confess. You're a guy. Be brave. If you're PRETTY sure she likes you, just do it man!
