I have 2 previous questions I posted on Yahoo answers and I got a tremendous response. I hope i can get the same feedback from this question. In my last question I mentioned a chick I WAS seeing who is saying she's pregnant, but I know she's not because She's on the patch and we use condoms. Yesterday she had her cousin call me to tell me that he took her to the clinic and the doctor told her she was pregnant. Now Im not the smartest man in the world but, I thought when you find out your pregnant at the doctor then they give you some kind of paper work stating that you are pregnant? I asked her to produce the paperwork because she wants an abortion now tha we are on bad terms, but she just insist on taking a home pregnancy test. What should I do?

When you go to a dr or clinic for anything you get paperwork.If you are preganant you get paperwork as well.I think shes lying if she cant produce these.The probibility of her being pregnant using the patch and a condom is pretty slim to none.If shes insisting on taking a pregnancy test at home then go with her to purchase it and be there when she takes it.If it comes back POS go with her to the clinic or dr for your own knowledge as well

I didn't get any paperwork when I went to the doctor. (I'm 7 months pregnant now). They did give me the pregnancy test for a keepsake.
It is possible that she is pregnant. It's also possible that she is pregnant, but it's not yours.
Is she asking for money for the abortion? You are not required to give her anything. Unfortunatley you can't stop her from having the abortion so you may never know if she is in fact pregnant and if so if it's even yours.
If she is willing to take a home pregnancy test, have her take it when you are there. If you have this many trust issues with this woman, maybe you should get out of this relationship asap!

Well, all doctor offices don't necessarily give paperwork if you come in just for a routine pregnancy test. I would offer to take her to the doctor myself and be present when the results are told, because if the baby is suppose to be yours then you should have that right. If she is pregnant, do you want her to have an abortion?......You just really need to be present either way, whether it is at the doctor or with a home pregnancy test, which is usually very accurate........Good luck

I have been pregnant twice and I never recieved paper work. As for getting pregnant on the patch or using condoms. My sister got pregnant useing all of that stuff. She can tell you she is on birthcontrol , but is she really? Ask her to take the test infront of you and then go from there. I am not one to believe in abortion , but if she is pregnant , why get rid of the child just because you r on bad terms. That doesn't mean you won't make up in the future.

I agree with the last poster... have her take the test in front of you. The thing is, they don't generally give you paperwork at the doctor's office because a lot of people (i.e. - married, TRYING to have children) don't need to "prove" to anyone that they are pregnant. Another thing to consider is NO form of birth control is EVER 100% effective... if you have sex, you could ALWAYS be pregnant. Human error, however small, can affect all kinds of birth control. I'm sorry for your situation and hers as well, but I think you should look for proof in your situation. If the best she can do for you is pee on a stick, the results are virtually immediate and you can go from there. Good luck to you both.

This seems like a really lame way to play a game with anyone. Insist on her taking the test in front of her. If she seems offended, tell her you want to make sure the test is done correctly so we dont make a mistake. Remember, you are supposed to use the first urine of the morning and there are some other specifics that you will want to be aware of so read the directions the day before...

I don't know if they give you paper work, I know in here in Ireland they don't and just call you to schedule your next appointment...
I think you should should have her take a Home Preg. Test when you are there and show you the results or go to the clinic with her and have them confirm or deny her claim.
Be sensitive about it as if she thinks you are being an *** she won't take test or go anywhere with you, when you finally have your answer then you can at least make some decisions then

I'd make her go for yet another test, but this time with you involved. Better yet, make her go for an ultrasound so you can see for yourself whether or not there is a baby. And home pregnancy tests come out wrong all the time. I took 3 for each of 2 my pregnancies (prior to dr's appointment) and all of the home tests came out negative.
And not all doctor's provide paperwork, mine didn't.

You R right sometimes they gives you a paper and sometimes they don't, but, it sounds to me this girl is up to no good and trying to gain money from U for an abortion & using her cousin for a reference to a lie. U should buy UR on test and have her pee pee in a cup and perform the test yourself or if she don't agree, ask her when her next Dr's apponitment and go with her to ask question, if she say no, the Hell with her, she's not pregnant at all.

The Doc may write it under diagnosis and he may not...but the paper work does have what kind of test that were run.
Sounds like she's just putting you through the ringer to make you feel bad. You should be real sweet to her until you get the information you need.
