No - a bullet is a hand blender, not a juicer.

The point of a juicer is to extract the juice from the pulp - a hand blender won't do that - it will puree the fruit or vegetable instead.

There are lots of good things about a juicer - but personally, I find that I don't use mine much unless I'm fasting. If you're juicing fruit, particularly, you're getting all of the sugar and none of the fibre... And they can sure be a pain to clean, even if you have a dishwasher! I find that it works better to eat the fruits and veggies and get the fibre, and take a "superfoods" supplement that delivers a lot of the benefits of juicing.

Some food processors come with attachments to do basic juicing, particularly of citrus fruits, which might be a good option - but they might need more prep work - ie, you may need to core the apples instead of doing them whole, etc.

Really, it all depends on how often you're going to use it. Maybe you can borrow a friend's for a while and test it out. Failing that, if you choose to buy one, you can always return it if you find it's not working out for you.

Happily, a hand blender will easily make smoothies with soft fruits such as bananas, pineapples, etc, and then you still get the fibre to counteract the sugar.

For juicing benefits without the juicer, you could always make beet kvass too - beets are great for you, and it's easy to make. Contact me if you want the recipe!

I don't know what a bullet is, unless your putting it in a gun?

A juicer is something that you should not skimp on if you are looking at juice as a diet change. Most cheap juicers move too fast, heating and oxygenating your juice, which reduces the vitamin content. I use a Champion juicer, cost about $200-well worth it. It comes with a ten year warranty.

Yes. I have one and used my mom's juicer way back. I found the juicer too big, cumbersome and hard to clean. The bullet is great if you are only making individual drinks, easy to clean, have different mugs and you can do margaritas and blended drinks really easily. Great party machine I use mine for margaritas, ice caps and stuff like that, great for summer drinks around the backyard, plus the price is good, the juicer was kinda expensive the bullet if it breaks it's cheap enough to buy another.

Hmmm... I looked it up. Seems like a pretty good thing. The thing I like about a juicer is that I can drink two oranges + one apple + half a lime + some wheat grass = all the nutrients but not a full stomach or added sugar and preservatives.

yes, blenders are better because you get more of the fruit or vegtable that is being liquified.

I prefer a full size blender myself though, the bullet just doesnt suffice.
