I really like learning. The vast majorty come here to do just that..however there are some who come here not to do that, rather they spit on Religion & Spirituality only to mock peoples of faith. Yahoo Answers has seen fit in all of their wisdom to give categories to such things as visual arts, drawing, sculpture, traveling to Argentina, Vietnam foods, trivia in education but didn't see a reason to give them a category. Maybe they felt they were irrelevant...I agree with that reasoning. So like a parasite it must attach itself to something to spew it's negative message of hopelessness and despair. Yes this is an open forum..you may come here and speak of your love of snookers if you wish..but the constant bashing of peoples of faith in a child-like manner with the intellect of a spoiled teen should be at the very least called into question.

Do you agree?

I agree wholeheartedly with you. It is not talking about these things that breeds the reliance upon suspicion and creates disharmony among the various cultures and beliefs. It's good to talk - how else will we ever understand?

I am an atheist. I have no message of hopelessness and despair.

And how can you b*tch about bashing people's faith in one sentence, and say things like "So like a parasite it must attach itself to something to spew it's negative message of hopelessness and despair" in the same paragraph?

Do you really not see the hypocrisy?

The people who come here to mock religion are here because they have something missing in their life. Some are secretly hoping to discover why Christians are so happy all the time and why they are miserable all the time.
We should forgive them and pray for them as God commanded.
Remember,"We must forgive those who trespass against us."

Yeah thats why you ask a bunch of questions daily bashing atheists. Then ask this question to make you look like a victim.

Right.

What's funny is it seems like you did a 180 in your choices of best answers when I called you out on someone else's question. You even changed your name from Let's Talk to Me Too

Yes I do; in fact my grandfather and I are discussing different religions (mainly Atheism and Islamic) and I LOVE IT! My mom and dad never really did that when they were young. Even today when everything is so crazy we can sit down & discuss different Religions and Spirituallitys.

Have a fantastic day!!

I absolutely agree with you. We need this forum to learn more about each others religions. Those who are doing the bashing should learn to be more tolerant.

Yes, I agree. The bashing should be intellectual/humorous rather than just spiteful. The spiteful bashing doesn't entertain me much

Yes. I like to answer true questions about God or Christ. I do not like being insulted because someone puts me in a category of people that they are ignorant of.

It's good to talk about it. Only by openly talking about it can we dispell such superstition and myth.
