Wow, this is the third time I've seen this exact question, down to the very last punctuation mark.
I once heard a real good definition of insanity: Doing the same thing the same way expecting different reactions.
You, Sir, are insane. (According to that definition, at least)
Psychologists have never said people will die for a belief or that they wouldn't die for something they knew to be false. As it happens, pretty much the null hypothesis is true -- people may or may not die for a belief, and depending on the reasons, may or may not die for something they know to be false.
Therefore, your fundamental premise is null and void, your arguement falls apart. Next question.

You've answered your own question. The Apostles BELIEVED he was resurrected, which in their minds was enough to justify their actions.
It doesnt prove anything, except what they believed.
Of course, this assumes that everything written about what the apostles endured is true also. We have no proof of that either, except for their own writings. It could also be true that their followers embellished the stories to make the apostles appear more holy, or super-human, to inspire others to join the church.

Well you have to also remember that the Romans were at war with the Jews...and You also have to take into account that Jesus became a Martyr after he died.....And being that as it is his followers were willing to die because their leader Sacrificed himself for his beliefs and so must they. They were following by example. If you are trying to start a church then you have to do what thoes coming before you have done.
