Dont choose any GOD! Just praise the Nature around you. The human Nature your boss possessed to give you a job, the Nature that your children survive, the Nature that keeps away diseases.

And if you do want them to worship God, then let them come to it in thier own way, through the hearts.

Boy, are you in a mess. You know, your mother and father already lived much of their lives with their beliefs. It is time for you to find your own life and your own beliefs. You do not have to follow either of their footsteps. You choose for yourself because you are the one who has to live the life you choose for yourself and your for your children and as they get older, you let them choose for themselves. Do you believe that Bin Laden attacking the US and killing all those people is right? Your father does. Do you think if you choose his way and you start killing people that it is right? That is an evil act, not the act of a good God. If Allah is expecting them to do evil acts, would that really be the right way to go? As for you saying you like God because he drinks wine and you always want to drink and get drunk, that is not what God did with his wine. He did not drink to get drunk. You can drink wine, but when it becomes a sin is when you drink and get drunk where you end up doing something that is wrong. A christian God is a good God. He is not expecting evil acts. He is expecting us to love each other and help each other. Remember, the decision is yours, not your mother's or father's, but yours. Do what you know is right for your children. God Bless You!

You must choose your own way. But, usually the children of a Muslim father follow his way---as is expected. However---your father does not sound like a very good Muslim, so I would give it a second thought. Or even better, study and learn what Islam really is.

Christians and Muslims worship the same G-d. It is on Jesus they have a different viewpoint.

In the bible it states that it is made "for all of mankind", let them question all of this themselves........they are suppose to, let them research both religions and others, and choose for themselves what to believe in, you are NOT suppose to go with one in particular just because you were brought up that way.......I know what you're saying about your father though, the thing is most people are so into a certain religion they never even think for a second that they could have it all wrong.............

Certainly you should follow jesus. Becoz jesus adviced people to love everyone without any differences. If it is ur enemy too you should love them. After that only you should pray.So that prayer will be effective.
But muslims are doing all the wrong things and then they are praying 5 times which is of no use .
ULTIMATE DECISION IS YOURS.

you'll have to find your own spiritual way, no matter what your parents say. i wouldn't like to be in your situation, my heart goes out to you. bring your children up in the way you decide to go. it may be that you find truth in one of your parents' religions, then you'll be able to bring up kids in it with a good conscience, but it might also be that you don't find truth in either. then you might still face questions from your kids about their grandparents' religions, that you should answer as neutrally as possible to help them make up their own minds.
