Cain was already married. Only the heads of families offered sacrifices under the Patriarchal law; he already had a wife and children before he killed Abel. She was most likely a sister, although she could have been a niece. Incest was not forbidden until the time of Moses, when mutations to the DNA would make reinforcement an issue.

The mark placed on Cain was some mark for his protection, so that people would not take revenge on him.

Genesis 4:15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

People have speculated over the years, and suggest things like dark skin, a horn like a unicorn or a twisted body like a troll. The Bible doesn't say, but it seems to be just a mark.

Cain obviously took one of his sisters as a wife or one of his nieces before he went into the wilderness - the BIble clearly states that he knew is wife in the land of Nod not that he found his wife there, note the difference. Also, Adam and Eve lived for 930 years, imagine how many children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren they would have during that time so they would easily have created a few large groups of people from their descendents within the first few hundred years. The Mark of Cain is a curse that was placed on him by God for killing his brother.

Cain was a he. Adam and Eve had plenty of opportunity to have plenty of children----Do some age comparison checks.

Cain's wife could have been a sister or a niece.
That early in the game, there was no such thing as genetic defects.

The laws prohibiting close marriage did not come about until the time of Moses.

The mark was a mark of protection, and not the brand of a murderer.

By she, I believe you are referring to the unnamed woman who would become his wife (Genesis 4:16-17)...

She would also be one of the offspring of Adam and Eve, though the generation would be unknown given that Adam had about 930 years of his life to father offspring (this would also explain the amount of time given to create such a large generation)...

The mark placed on Cain would be both a physical and a visible one so that others may see it, but otherwise there is no other clue to its specifics...

do no longer study into the textual content what it would not say. The textual content would not say that Cain have been given married after he grow to be exiled. It purely mentions him having a son after he grow to be exiled. He would have been married earlier his exile and his spouse would have observed him in exile. The account would not supply each and all the info because of the fact the main concentration is on Cain and Abel and Cain's grave sin. do no longer make the blunders of assuming there have been no longer different infants in simple terms because of the fact different names are not pronounced. (Genesis 5:4) it is impossible to declare with certainty that Cain's spouse grow to be a sister of his. It genuinely is conceivable. whether it is likewise attainable that she grow to be a niece. genuinely, she ought to have been a relative of his as all human beings alive aside from Adam and Eve have been born from Eve. (Genesis 3:20)

Genesis 4:17 (New International Version)

17 Cain LAY with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch.

... THIS IS THE CORRECT ORIGINAL GREEK-ENGLISH TRANSLATION "LAY"
because some of bible translation written is "KNEW" his wife, that is why most people confused that Cain just met and "knew" his wife from a different place, but in fact Cain BRING his wife along with him and LAY with his wife and she became pregnant.

hopefully its clear enough :)

Cain would have married his sister.
It was not against God's law at that time.
The gene pool was very pure at that time so deformities did not happen.
