In our community, there are a lot of Eastern Europeans who live and work here, and are a great addition to the community. Polish people are wonderful - so are Polish Jews. If you know anything about World War 2 history, the Polish fought with a vengeance which is more than I can say for the French!

My wife is Polish. I think some of the most beautiful women in the world are Polish.
I love Polish food and Holiday meals.
I hate it when people make stupid Polish Jokes.....At least the Polish people learned to speak English when they came to America and didn't demand everything be bi-lingual.
Poland is a great friend to the USA and Allie in the war on terror.

Cool people, did some brave stuff against Hitler and Communism, for which they have my respect.
Also, an underdog who got swallowed Catherine the Great and Prussia and Austria in the 19th century; and underdogs always have my respect.
But most important of all, they have really fun names to pronounce. Like Mientkiewicz (Baseball) and Czerkawski (Hockey). That might be my favourite part about Polish people.

Honestly, I don't give much time to thinking about the Polish people.. I am sure that they are like the rest of the world, some good, and some bad..
Never been there, so wouldn't want to make a big, grandiose judgement on them.. Not my place..

Extremely hardworking and willing. Polish seem very sociable and keep close family links. Very unfairly, they are are given a very hard time by the lazy English who feel threatened by their growing presence in the UK. Employers prefer to have Polish work for them as they are willing to work for a living unlike so many English people who feel life owes them and prefer to live on the doll than get out to work.
