no you are not chocking. in order to be choking you can't talk, cry, cough. if you do end up stand befend a chair and put you tummy over the chair and push down on to the chair this will act as the humlic. and hope that someone is home with you, cz as i said when you are actually choking you can't talk. but if you call 911 and don't say anything or hang up they will send the police and fire dept.
hope this helps =)

You might have scratched your throat - that can sometimes feel like there is something stuck in your throat. Should go after a day or two though.

My sister used to always feel like she had something in her throat after eating (no rude comments please) anyway it turned out she had a hiatus hernia. It can sometimes be accompianied by acid reflux (heartburn). It might be best just to get it checked out. It could be a piece of food stuck but not big enough to choke you.

It's probably just a sore throat. If you get a bad cold that goes to your throat it will feel like you have a large scratchy lump in there and however much you swallow it won't go away.
It would be wisest to get to your doctor for confirmation asap though.

i think if you were choking, you would not be able to type in the question. you may have swallowed something that has burnt or bruised the back of your throat, giving you the feeling of something being stuck there. don't worry, it will clear up, and, no, your not choking.

If you are still alive, then you are not choking.
If you feel that you have something stuck in your throat, go to A&E and have it looked at.

If you were choking, you wouldn't be able to breath in or out, you would turn blue, and fall to the floor...;) help any? Try water, if it is still bothering you, goto the ER...
