Or are you just kidding yourself?

Sure! I've laid right off trying to bend time and shift space, gives me such a head ache! I never kid myself, It just doesn't work for me. If I'm going to kid, I kid someone else; then there's a purpose behind it. I've always felt that if one must lie, for whatever reasons; it's never wise to lie to yourself. I think it makes people that do this crazy in the long run. I don't care much for lies, never seems to work out for the folk who do this; but what do I know; maybe from their perspective it works out great! To each their own I guess.

Most people are really kidding themselves, they are a victims trapped in their own mind. Ignorance goes undetected by each of us. How can someone be aware of something they don't know? They cant, so their current state of reality is just a figmant of their imagination. We are all ignorant, just some more than others. Unfortunately the more ignorant are more prone to bias and close mindedness. All of us hold bias' but again, some more than others. Its the most objective mind that is the most conscious, aware of the outside world. But then again, a person can think their objective unaware they really hold bias'. Confused, yeah me too.

I am being true to myself and reality.

I find it takes you much energy to kid myself, because in the end I always know when I am kidding and when I am serious.

I'm kidding myself whilst at the same time being true to myself by never believing in reality.

Live in a fantasy world - it's a lot easier.

My reality may not be your reality; it doesn't make it less true.If one can't be true to ones own self,How can we be true to others?I will not kid myself, life is too short to waste one minute in a lie.

i try to be true to my self but I'm not being right to my Lord and i really for know how to be a better person,by living for GOD,but when life gets you down and makes you feel worthless it can hurt you in your walk with GOD.

No matter how you are, that's how you are. Some people can't accept how they are, though. I'm pretty straightforward with my strengths and weaknesses.
