OK I figure that you mean kirei and not karei. I am translating directly for you from a Japanese dictionary called a kokugo jiten. It gives two seperate ways to write "kirei" one prefered over the other. But, I don't have the ability to write Japanese on this computer. So, the next point is the words "da" and "na" which tells us that kirei is a kind of adjective. (beautiful is your adjective.) (1) beautiful (utsukushii) "especially," it says, "the eyes that see... " (and I will have to get back to you on that,) some examples then follow: "hana ga kirei da." The flowers are beautiful. "kirei na josei." A beautiful woman." Then it waxes a little too literary for me with a quote no doubt from a famous source: "kuchisaki bakari kirei na koto." etc., etc. and a note on the kanji of second choice for "ki" again pretty obscure for me.
(2) yogore I will have to come back to this.

kirei or 綺麗 means:
1. beautiful, pretty, lovely, fine,
2. clean, pure, neat,

karei can have a lot of meanings, depending on the characters you use to write it, for example it can be:
1. a sort of fish 鰈
2. glitter, pomp, brilliance, or as an adjective splendid, gorgeous, luxuriant 華麗

and lots of others. But I suppose you were actually interested in the meaning of kirei.
