Is there a medical condition that would cause you to lose pubic hair? What can you do about it? Has anyone has this condition?

Does she wear her pants really low? Having low rise pants and belts on can rub that hair right off. Other than that, she should go to the dr.

I've not heard of this condition before so it's new to me. I would suggest your friend talks to their dr. There could be a number of things going on. Like some suggested, too much friction if your friend is sexually active or wears overly low cut clothing that's a little tight.

I know for some people lack of B vitamins can cause hair loss on the head, but again...I've not heard of it for the pubic area. She should definately talk to her dr.

sounds like alopecia...unfortunately there isn't much that can be done. stress does have a major role in causing this condition, but its usually on the head (ya know the one with the face on, not the other) my advice would be to look at the everyday diet, is he/she getting the correct amount of vitamins, calcium & iron...also if it persists see the doctor he may be able to perscribe something to halt it at least....but at the end of the day he/she in quite a nice postion as to not need fem wax LOL if ya know what I mean !!!!!!!

She may have come in contact with a substance that removes hair. Also, alot of rubbing from running will do it.

DEFINETLY TELL YOUR FRIEND TO GO IN AND HAVE IT LOOKED AT AND MAYBE THEY WILL LOOK AT AGE, FAMILY HISTORY, OR LIFESTYLE AND SEE IF THEY HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION
