Study English. Go to Kuwait. Work and go to school. Get a bachelor's degree in metallurgy or an engineering field. Bring your mother and sister to Kuwait. Let them work. Let your sister go to school. Apply to work or study in the US or Canada at the embassy in Kuwait city.

You can only prove something by your actions and by hard work. First get or complete an education: Universities in Iran are good. It will be difficult for you to go directly to the US. Try a job in the Emirates, for instance and from there move on to other companies. And you are wrong in thinking that people in the world or even in the US are critical of Iranians, just because most criticize Iran's current government. In fact Iranians have contributed much to the advantages the US has today. See here:

Because Iran is one of those hot spots of terrorism. You are guilty by association in the eyes of the U.S.

Personally, I would assume that you are a good person unless you proved otherwise. BUT, that is the problem. We've had a few middle eastern men pose as "good" people (coached baseball, active in the schools, lived among us as our friends) and then one bright sunny morning in Sept. 2001, they flew our planes into two towers, The Pentagon and another into the ground. In a country where outside acts of terrorism are simply not the normal way of life, this behavior from outsiders is not highly revered.

Unfortunately, your heritage now betrays you if living in the U.S is what you really want to do.

I wish you luck in your journey but your desires for travel are no different than those of us who would live to travel and see the middle east but cannot for fear of being caught up in the fighting. And as a woman-I know that traveling to a place like Iran would be very unsafe anyway.

Most Americans don't know the difference between Iran & Iraq, let alone telling the difference between the good & the bad from these countries. Bush, with the help of Bin Ladin has the country scared to death of terrorists, & Americans believe that everyone that looks, walks, & talks (I mean accent) like a terrorist, IS A TERRORIST!
You have a tough road ahead of you my friend. Good Luck.

P.S
I believe you are a good person, but proving that to the US Immigration is another matter.

Leave your country. Get out of it. Go anywhere else. Iran isn't going to get any easier for people who are pro America.

Iran is full of heritage culture (i think Persian Culture) . Though I am in India , I know about the culture of your hertiage due to your generations are living in India. Please make all in your web with tourist spot , and those who are visiting your web may remove the impression of bad about Iran. Iranians are very good friendly people . our government policy isolates genuine people of the same territory as terrorist. please try to enhance our culture and heritage to others. this way you can eradicate the impressions. sometimes we have to swallow the bitter piles due to our government policy.

Isnt there any other country you can go to for asylum. You are NOT going to have it easy in America. Besides immigration, the people themselves(not all) are going to intimidate you as long as you are Iranian. Forget US and UK.
