I don't know that carpentering was necessarily the making of furniture, but it would be awesome. It seems to me that though Jesus step-father was a carpenter, that Jesus must not have been one. The reason I think that is so many of his talks refer to pretty good knowledge of agriculture and animal husbandry. Secondarily He is knowledgable about the fishing industry. He didn't say much about craftsmanship. Another thing about that is that there is an indication that he was sent by His family to religious school, evidenced by the fact that he is at a young age already an "accredited" Rabbi, known in the rabbinical community well enough to be teaching in synagogues and the temple.
Anything that could be proved He made or even touched, though, would be an antinquity of unparalleled value...the owners of eBay would trade their company for it! :) :)

It wouldnt surprize me.
Back in the middle ages, there was a huge trade in "relics" from the holy land going to churches in Europe. Every church had to get a piece of the cross, or nail from the crucifixion, or something Jesus had used or touched during his life. Two churches even claimed to have Jesus' foreskin.

pssst!! people did not sit on chairs at the time ... didnt you see The Passion with the chair joke? where Mary said it'll never catch on when she saw the chair being made for the rich guy
Jesus was actualy a tekton, which could be a stone mason, a worker of stone, or some other skilled worker... carpenter might be too narrow... he may have spent most of his time making buildings not furnature
now Herod the great made lots and lots of buildings... and some are partly still there... but really all we remmember about Herod is he killed babies when Jesus was born
Jesus best work is in those who believe in Him and it will last and wont be available on ebay

No disrespect against him or anything, but me must not have been very good. I mean, in 3 years that we study the bible, it only calls him a carpenter. It nevers says anything like "and then Jesus went to Galilee wherein he built a chair. And it was a nice chair" So I think he wasn't very good at it, so out of respect, it's never mentioned.

It was my understanding that he didn't take anything around with him. He said in Luke 9:58 "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head."
Since his whole attention was given to God's will for the last 3 1/2 years of his life, he didn't make anymore furniture.
As to the furniture that he made with his foster father Joseph, well that certainly wouldn't have lasted anyway - since it was made out of common wood.

I've seen a splinter of the cross that Jesus was cruficied on in my church's reliquary. If it's the genuine article it's in pretty good shape for organic matierial. I imagine that if Jesus made anything with his hands it is held and preserved by the church and it's entirely possible, given that state of that thousands years old splinter, that it's still in pretty good shape.

I've seen one of the nails from his cross on E-bay (allegedly) - don't think it sold as no proof - and especially as it came within a bag of 12 other 6" nails marked 'B&Q'

the one thing that has lasted all this time, that He built, is the bridge from hell to heaven with two pieces of wood and three nails, which even the most wretched can cross if they give up their constant need to belittle something satan makes them THINK they understand and accept Jesus as their savior.
The rest of us will pray for YOU.

The romans used it all for crucifixes.
Mind you, some of them were resurrected after being smashed up. My divan is in fact of resurrected holy wood, once crafted by the Nazarene himself.
