The fastest way to house train a puppy is by keeping the puppy in the room with you so you can always watch him. You ned to take him out after a nap, after hard playing, after a drink, or if he hasn't been out for a while. Get him to go to the door with you (or pick him up if you need to hurry) and you have to go outside with him. The split second he pees, you give him lots and lots of praise then come back in. This way he learns to differentiate between play time outside and potty time.
The idea here is lots of praise for correct behaviour and not giving him the opportunity to make mistakes. A young puppy is, of course, going to have accidents, but don't scold him, just quietly clean it up. If you catch him while he's peeing, tell him no and take him out and praise him if he goes. Puppies learn very quickly with lots of praise and you're also beginning a relationship with your puppy where he trusts you which will help in future training. Have fun with your puppy!

Get a crate and go from there. Before diving into it, get a crate training book or DVD from the pet store to show you how to make it as easy as possible for you and the dog. There are so many helpful tips they can give you.

This is not professional advice ,just what i learned with puppy.1:take them out every 3 hrs at first until they get a little older..keep pads down for "accidents"in one area.2:heard from a vet its not good to rub their noses in it but just firmly say"bad dog".3:small rewards for good behavior.4:take out 30 minutes after they eat.Hope this helps some and by way love the kind of dog you got!

Take the pup outside every half hour or hour, and when he pees or poops, praise him and tell him he is a good boy (or girl). At night, you may want to crate him, pups will not pee where they lay.
If you see the pup sniffing around the house, take him outside right away, but don't scare him. Again, praise him if he potties outside.
