I have also tried Beck's Dark Beer. I like both of them, but would like to try something new.

Guinness extra stout is THE BEST! However...
As far as mass produced beers go...Leinenkugel makes one call Big Butt Dopplebach, Killians has one called Irish Red (not too dark, but an acceptable substitute if Guinness is unavailable), Michelobe has Amber Bach (refer to note about Irish Red). All are descent beers that won't dissapoint.

Microbrews are where it's at though. When I visit friends in Madison,WI I like to get Oscar's Chocolate and Oatmeal stout. I know it's sounds kind of gross, but it is probably the best beer ever. You almost can't go wrong with an oatmeal stout. Some friends and I plan on going to a Microbrew fest in Wisconsin in October. It's in Wisconsin Dells you should check it out if you live close enough.

I love Guiness. I suggest you try Burton's Double Chocolate stout and oatmeal stout and Sam Smiths oatmeal stout. If you like Guiness, I suspect you'll love these.

I bought a 6-pack of Boulevard dark beer the other day and it was very dark and very stout, too stout for my taste but that sounds along the lines of what you are looking for. You should try it!

If you like Guiness you will love Beamish Stout and Murphy's Stout they are similar to Guiness but each have slightly different tastes and after-tastes.

There are several different types of stouts. Guiness is a dry stout stout. There are also oatmeal stouts, cream stouts, export stouts, and imperial stouts.

You might also want to try porters. While stouts have a roastiness to them, porters have a chocolate quality to them.
