i triedt help my friend get over this guy and its taking longer than i thought. we only talk about him, she only wants to her stories about him and because i feel sorry for her i tell her if i have heard anything but he only does bad things to her, when he sees her its like he never ever knew her but when he needs a favour he calls her i think he is just mad, i told my friend that she must just move on and forget about him but she cannot are maybe she does not want to. he lives close by we go to the same bar for drinks and he is always there he talks to me and not her . how can i help my friend get over him quick and fast please?

Sometimes, I think you have to be brutally honest and just lay the facts out before her. That said, I think you should also explain to her that you recognize that feelings are not rational, and don't neccessarily just turn off, but that it hurts you as a friend to see her so destructively engaged.

i would just let her find out for herself...if you have already told her anyway....tell her that he just does not feel like she does about the two of them...she should open her eyes......and maybe she does not want to believe it...but she will have to wake up....
