this girl is the world to me, and i really am having a tough time understanding this, could you help. thanks?
this is what a girl i like sent me, after i asked her how she felt. i know it sounds like a nice way of saying no, but her and her mom are really close, and she says shes just REALLY scared of ruining the friendship. What should i think she( the girl i like) is telling me, based on this email

well first of all, I don't hate you. second, I haven't been avoiding you either becuase its not been just swimming that I've been busy with its been life.I also haven't been beating around the bush because you never asked me if I did or not. But I haven't ever thought of being more than friends with you because we've always been good friends and I think thats how things should stay.I just don't want to ruin a friendship.hope you've had a good day, and i will talk to you later
now, too me that sounds like a nice way of saying no because of " i have never seen us as more than friends and tahts how it should stay..
but becuz of this " i just dont wanna ruin a frienship" confuses me

i mean its so hard to move on. it tears my heart out to see her. because we used to be so close, we really had a thing going. and now she's always with some other guy, like she used to be with me, i love her i really do. but should i forget about her forever?

Take a hint. The friendship thing is just an excuse, she does not want to be more than friends.

i think that in her hearth she feels that she can only be friends with you. she loves you like a sister-brother relationship and she does not want to be with you in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship where things will then get awkward if it does not work out.
Her friend you see her with might be someone that is keeping her company now that she is trying to keep a certain distance from you until your emotions get back in place.
You try to focus your mind of how your relationship was before you started having feelings towards her. Cherish your memories and you'll see that she is right in not wanting anyhting else as what you have as friends is so special. Personally I agree, because if you fall out, then it would not be possible to remain friends... maybe by writing you this email, she is telling you that she loves you too much to loose you, and that it is better to be friends only, then get together and fall out and do not talk at all... and maybe she is keeping a certain distance from you without admitting it so she can control her feelings too and see for herself what she wants.

If it is ment to be then it will be. You can't make something out of nothing. If that girl felt the same way you felt she would tell you that yes she wants to be with you. She is trying to tell in the nicest way possible that she is not interested in you. I know it hurts when you love someone and they don't love you back but don't let that one girl stop you from finding your true love out there because its not her. And if it is then she will come around but don't wait on her.

Obviously she does not realize how great a guy you are, and it might take her awhile to see that. I was once that girl with my bestfriend who is now my boyfriend; it took me ten years to see that and he stuck threw it! We have now been dating for 4 years :)
