good question. he would become your nephew thats what you would callhim but technically he is not 100% your nephew because he is not blood related. heres some info that may help??
Chart relationships as sentences
Note also that cousinship is not calculated between individuals when one is descended from the other.
* My sibling has the same parents as I do (NOTE:--- half-siblings share only one parent --- step-siblings share no biological parent)
* The child of my sibling is my nephew/niece and I am his/her uncle/aunt
* The grandchild of my sibling is my grand nephew/niece and I am his/her grand uncle/aunt
* The great grandchild of my sibling is my great grand nephew/niece and I am his/her great grand uncle/aunt
* If our parents are siblings we are first cousins, and have the same grandparents
* If our grandparents are siblings we are second cousins and have the same great grandparents
* If our great grandparents are siblings we are third cousins and have the same great-great grandparents
* My first cousin's child and I are first cousins once removed to each other (one generation difference between us)
* My first cousin's grandchild and I are first cousins twice removed to each other (two generations difference between us)
Similarly
* My parent's first cousin and I are first cousins once removed to each other (one generation difference between us)
* My grandparent's first cousin and I are first cousins twice removed to each other (two generations difference between us)
* My second cousin's child and I are second cousins once removed to each other (one generation difference between us)
* My second cousin's grandchild and I are second cousins twice removed to each other (two generations difference between us)
Similarly
* My parent's second cousin and I are second cousins once removed to each other (one generation difference between us)
* My grandparent's second cousin and I are second cousins twice removed to each other (two generations difference between us)
Following this pattern, it can be determined that xth cousin y-times removed means either of the following:
* The xth cousin of your direct ancestor y generations previously (eg. your great-grandparent's fifth cousin is your fifth cousin thrice removed); or
* Your xth cousin's direct descendant y generations away (eg. your fifth cousin's great-grandchild is also your fifth cousin thrice removed)

He will be your nephew(step-nephew), Second cousin is when your first cousin has a child, the child is the second cousin. And once removed is when the link is broken between the two people like when a aunt becomes once removed because the aunt divorced the uncle who was the blood uncle

Technically I guess Harry will be your step-nephew. Although you might find it easier to just be uncle and nephew.
Your first cousin is your parent's nephew/niece. Your children will be second cousins to your cousin's children.
Removedness (or whatever the name is for the general term) is to do with generations. Once removed means one biological generation different from you (in either direction). Twice removed means two biological generations different. So I think your uncle can also be called your cousin once removed, and your uncle can call you a cousin once remvoed. I think it's normally used when people are a similar age, but a different biological generation. I do know someone whose Aunt is actually younger than him, so I think they would probably use cousin once removed.

Harry will be your step-nephew. If your brother fully adopts Harry as his own son, then he'll be your nephew (same as Tom).
A second cousin is the child of your parents 'full' cousin.
Once removed - I haven't a clue. I'll be watching to see what this is!!

You don't really have "step-nephews", although the term is a logical one, as the relationship arises only through marriage, rather than with any blood link.
The other answers about second cousins are correct.
I understood that "once removed" meant that you had to go back one more generation to find the link. E.g. your grandfather's brother's grandson would be your cousin (same generation as you) once removed.

Harry is your step nephew.. and if you had a child they will be Tom's first cousins not his aunt or uncle - for Tom to get another Aunt or Uncle your parents need to have another child.
As for second cousin - my fathers sister (my aunt) her children are my first cousin and my second cousin would be my 1st cousins child..
The whole once removed is to do with marriage i believe.

ok i can get confused on these but i think if your brother marries his girlfriend and adopts her son then yes he would be your nephew . a nephew in law would be your nieces husband . a second cousin is if your dad lets say aunt has a kid that is his cousin but to you he/she would be your second cousin (i think) now as for removed once , twice sorry i get confused there , i think its just a polite way of saying they are in the family but we really dont want to say so

A second cousin is the relationship that the children of first cousins have to each other.
If you have a first cousin, and they have children, then their children are your first cousins once removed.
If you have children, then your children and your first cousins children are second cousins.
As another answerer said, the 'removed' part indicates a generational gap. If your first cousin's children, who are your first cousins once removed, had children then those children would be your first cousin's grandchildren and your first cousins twice removed.
They would be also be your children's second cousins once removed.
Now see if you can work it out hehehe. I thought I was trying to be clear but I am not sure how successful I am being lol

It all depends on your perception as to what your relationship to her son is. My brother married a girl who already had a son and he was treated as if he was my brother's son. I called him my nephew and my mom called him her grandson. Technically, thet's not right but that's the way we treated him. I recenlty married a girl with a son and I treat him as my own son. My brother and sister call him their neophew and my mom calls him her grandson.
A second cousin is the child of one of your parents' first cousins. your dad's cousin's son is your second cousin. Once removed is a person who is a generation off. Your second cousin's child is your second cousin once removed.

second cousin is the child of your father/mother's cousin
once removed stands for a shift one descent down. for instance, your first cousin once removed is your cousin's child
as for Harry, i think he becomes your legal nephew if your bro adopts him. Not sure
