I have two answers. My first answer was when I was maybe around ten-years-old. However, I grew up in an area that was "perfectly normal" (that is, high Church attendance, and not the liberal kind), so I was solo, doing both the tying and untying. There's a word for that. Hmm...;-)

About three years ago, I finally got the courage to join up with a lifestyle community. I still remember my first dungeon party. The focus tended to be more S/M, but there was some bondage involved. I've been to a few others and in practically every case I was the bottom. I eventually want to top sometime, but in all honesty, I just like looking at bound women, so how they get there is not quite as important as the final result. ;-)

1) Everyone's played tie up games.
2) What did I use = rope, handcuffs, bandannas, scarves, pillowcases, shoelaces, handkerchiefs, blankets, duct tape...just not all at the same time. What role play involved = instead of guns or knives or anything dangerous, I've been "kidnapped" with chloroform that was actually just perfume on a handkerchief, and at squirt gun point.
3) What age = i figure most people did this when they were kids, but I started in my early 20's.
4) How long = i am with people a while, since this is a "Trust" game, just like falling back into someone's arms- you gotta KNOW that they'll be there for you if something goes wrong.
5) I sometimes tie up others but mostly like to be the victim.
6) Did i do anything naughty? leave that one to your imagination.

Nothing wrong with tie up games as you put it. Has long has you both consent to it, it is always a good idea to have a safe word in case something gets done what you don't like. But you have to trust the person enough so that if you use the safe word you will be released immediately. It wouldn't be very nice to take a picture of someone tied up and naked and then post it on the web, would it, funny but not nice. That would probably be the last time you got to play them sort of games if you did that.
