Rare = hardly cooked - practically raw meat

Medium Rare = somewhat cooked on the edges, but still very pink inside.

Medium = cooked on the outside an dpartly on the inside, but still pink in the center.

Medim well = nice and brown all around - inside and out

Well = crisp on the outside, brown on the inside.

They can be grilled or fried or put in an oven.

Rare Medium Well Done are ways of cooking them and speak for themselves. I like mine well done.
