Hon, I think you're with the wrong guy. Some men do admit they're wrong sometimes. But if your guy never does I think that's a real problem for you both.
Try to be more assertive and see how you get on.
Arrogance can be confused with confidence. Some men are confident without being arrogant.
If you feel you are right next time, stand your ground. If he doesn't back down, dump him.

try just scraping for forgiveness all that bowing can make your posture a bit hunchy.

We don't always think we're right but when we are, we tend to stick to our guns ( i do anyway) I always ask female friends if I've had arguments with a girlfriend what they think from a womans point of view. Or my mum or my sisters. Is that arrogant?

You got it right there ... men only THINK they're right - it's women who always KNOW they're right!

Men have for centuries been the provider/hunter-gatherer for the family ... It's only now that women think they can have a career and earn as much as men because education systems throughout the world have changed to allow women to develop their knowledge in such subject that were once the hallowed ground of men - sciences and such

So yes, we're sometimes arrogant, sometimes right and always the better sex! Now get back to your ironing and cooking - your husband will be home soon and will want a hot meal before he takes you to bed ... lol

Because men are arrogant. Next time don't bow and scrape for forgiveness. Just let him get on with it. Stick up for yourself and don't weaken or he will make sure he has his own way for evermore.

Yes I agree with you. Women should be treated as equals. It's an old stigma thing that men maintained over women throughout history. I personally do think some women, in fact many women, are better qualified and smarter in various areas than men. I am pootie whipped and always give in to my girlfriend though so I may not be the best person to be answering this

B/c men are macho creatures. That think we live in the stoneage where women do what they say and cook their dinner,do their laundry, and stay home and watch the kids. It doesn't work like that anymore guys we women have minds of our own and we have girl power sorry that was cheesey. But its true men should admit there wrong and if they want to get into our pants again they will come to us pleading for forgiveness from us.

Well when I have a b/f i take a look at their dad and this gives you a good idea to what type of person your b/f is or going to become when older. I know that this isnt always the case but in my history it is.

If your fella has had a traditional upbringing then the father is the man of the house and what he says goes!! being brought up in this environment is bound to make there son feel the same when they are older - if you know what I mean

"Think"? Surely that should be "know".

Seriously I don't think many men will find your situation at all familiar - we tend to think that women always have to have the last word. Maybe it's just that you and your man are either thinking along different lines or don't discuss things on the same basis.

Why not write a more detailed question. You can put your side, he can put his and we'll review it for you.

the arrogance is inborn since men have been right for the past several thousand years and its in the women's RNA to be wrong when having a conversation with a man.
