I agree with 'bugaboo', except in one important regard, it isn't incompetence on the part of the government, it is wilful, and is part of their left wing agenda. I also profoundly agree with 'fatface' and 'avich'. Whatever you do, ignore 'keefer', his naivety is positively frightening.

I am sorry but this question doesn't read very well. Is the suggestion here that the UK Government has a policy of dicriminating against some people from other countries in favour of Eastern Europeans?
This question will get the "lets all kick 'em out brigade" to answer in their hordes, so I will be the 'do gooder'. Most people from the new member countries of the EU who come to Britain come here to work, not to be a burden on the State. They are doing jobs that most folk in Britain consider themselves to be too good for and would rather sit on the dole sponging off the tax payer themselves. We are a rich country with a proud history of accepting immigrants in the past and long may it continue. These are the people who, in the light of our declining birth rate, will be paying taxes that will support my pension, should there still be a pension scheme that hasn't been ripped off by some executive somewhere, so we should be welcoming them here with open arms.

Legally, under the European conventions we have to allow people from Eastern Europe to come to the UK. We joined the European community and free movement is one of the terms. It is true that it is being made difficult for some people to come to the UK from eastern Europe and impossible for them to get in to some "rich" countries like France and Germany. We are small and an island we can only take so many people. We have taken people who are genuine refugees from across the world. I would welcome some people from Eastern Europe. They are not all bus and truck drivers. In fact one of my friends I met on the net - I'm trying to find a job here for him. he is welcome - by me personally. People from some third world countries - we can't take - not enough room. So it's better to help them where they are. We have written off debts for African countries and tried to help other countries achieve democracy and freedom. Some people don't want freedom - they want to be ruled by fascist dictators like Saddam - so bugger them - leave them to it!

Having tried to read your question I can only assume that you have recently come into the country yourself and you are still trying to learn the language....keep up the good work!

New Labia are a bunch of incompetent idiots, with their hands in the jam jar, fiddling while Rome burns. The home office has been turned into the sally army.

Under EU rulings, member states must accept immigrants from other states first, then outsiders.

Because we are now enslaved to the European Union. The unelected mafia now own us body and sole. What they say - goes. Our Regional Assembly (formally known as Westminster) can do nothing.
