Clearly at the time he was working in his official capacity and as an employee has to act in the best interests of his employer. His actions could have cost them big contracts and put a lot more than his job at risk.
However, passing on information which improves the Royal Mail experience should have been worthy of a commendation, I doubt that will ever happen, since it is the bottom line that matters, if good service improves the bottom line then and only then will it ever be a top consideration methinks

I, too, LOVE trees, and am fairly aggravated that there is such an extra of direct mail, yet I do all i'll to lessen, reuse, and recycle timber, paper, plastic, glass, and different such products regularly thrown away in our present day day society. on the different hand, notwithstanding, anthropomorphizing "mom Earth" is equivalent to putting "her" on a pedestal as being equivalent to God, and that i'm certainly not mushy with that. yet I actual have finished self assurance in Jehovah God's promise, discovered at Revelation 11:18, which reminds us that he will preserve this problem . . . . very quickly. Rev 11:18 - (NIV) - "The countries were indignant, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the useless, and for worthwhile your servants the prophets and Your those who revere your call, both large and small— and for DESTROYING those who damage THE EARTH."

I wholeheartedly agree with you and the 1st 3 answers. I hate having my mailbox invaded with all those unwanted adverts. They just go straight to the trash. Why can't these companies realize that they're not only bugging everyone but losing tons of money by sending out all this paper trash?
So, what did the postman say to do? I need and want to know.
