I drive a 2003 VW Jetta TDI powered by 100% veggie oil biodiesel. Lowest mileage was 42, highest was 58.

Am driving an old "beastie" Toyota Tercel wagon, 4 whl drv, and getting 34 back and forth to work, I skip gears between shifts, though that doesn't seem to make much difference. No idea what highway mileage would be, never have taken on a trip.

52mpg from this Peugeot Hdi diesel. 60 on a long run. But I do drive v-e-r-y carefully, this is France, where someone coming out of a turning on the right is likely to have the right of way.
