Oh, I got FRIED once. I was in Honduras and I was fishing all day in Lago de Yohoa, wearing a bathing suit. The sunscreen had LONG burned off. I have freckles on my back to this day from that. [it was 1985] When I stepped, pain shot up my legs because the skin was 2 sizes too small. I was a walking lobster!!!!

Spring break trip to the beach. Fell asleep on my back on a slightly overcast day. No sunscreen at all. Out from 9:30 am until about 3:00.
Blistered eyelids, area between breasts, tops of feet, not to mention everywhere in between. Ran 102 fever for a week. It all peeled, of course, and for the rest of that summer, every time I went out, even briefly, it felt as though it were sun shining on a new and bad sunburn. I ended up with zero tan that year.
That was 35 years ago, I am now reaping the negative effects of that one burn (I guess it is positive effects for the dermatologist I pay).

hmm can we say on behalf of someone else? (This is a bit morbid)
My partners ex flatmate tried to commit suicide by sunburn! In New Zealand the hole in the ozone layer is directly above so the burntime in our country is around 7 minutes.
Anyway, he was a very large man and when it all got too much for him, he lay on the beach in the direct sunlight and fell asleep with the intention of burning himself to death. He received extreme burning to his skin that he had to receive skin grafts and spent 3 months in hospital recovering. The tips of his fingers and nose were black to the crisp and the skin that wasn't grafted had extreme blistering to it that I cant even begin to describe it here!
Sorry if this was a bit much, but he defintely had the worst sunburn ever. I haven't heard how he turned out (this was a good 4 years ago) but I'm sure you get the point!

you will possibly desire to heavily evaluate making an investment in a great bottle of aloe vera. My kinfolk swears by using that stuff. practice aloe vera to all your burned epidermis a minimum of as quickly as an afternoon (probable extra like two times an afternoon to your specific case, if not extra - a morning and night ordinary according to threat?) and enable one among nature's many miracle plant components artwork its magic. it is going to sting plenty under conventional lotion will (if it even stings in any respect) and it's going to start to heal and moisturize your epidermis on the comparable time. The chilly jelly-like substance additionally will soothe your contaminated epidermis. be responsive to warning: do no longer use lotion - particularly no longer the scented style - it's going to make your sunburn sting ten circumstances better than it does once you at the instant are not touching it. Oh, and till it heals and feels solid returned, it truly is advisable to the two positioned on loose clothing or clothing that may not rub against those factors of epidermis as they are going to in all probability be gentle for a at the same time as. you will possibly desire to attempt masking it up with makeup in case you sense it truly is needed yet that would basically sluggish the therapeutic technique.
