Religion is man's attempt to establish righteousness through ones own self effort.
This only makes the follower "self-righteous".
Jesus came to free you from religion and restore you to a relationship with his father in heaven.
Pick up a king james bible and read the following passages:
John 3:16-18
John 8:24
Romans 3:23-24
1 John 3:9-10

Well first of all i don't think u should ask someone but for you to choose what you feel you think is best. But if you don't know which then, read about all the religions. But i would tell you to choose Baptist, which is feel is hte best. Although people tend to bring it down becuase we cna't drink, have sex or other worldly things that are sins, we still live life normal and there's no difference between an athiest and a baptisit except that athiests will go to hell for not beliveing in God. (its so obvious that ther is one) we live life praising God becuase He is God and becuase He does great things for people who truly believe him. Not the fakers. People say that they choose no religion becuase they want to be free. Well i feel free even though i am a part fo a religion. I don't feel trapped by the rules or thigns that i can't do. Not at all. I feel like i haev fun in life but i think those poeple who are true Christians relalyf eel free in their life knowing that God takes care of them and watches over them. No i don't go to clubs and drink and have sex or party all night long and dnace on boys and stuff but i still have fun being with my family friends andother thigns like going shopping and regular stuff.

Only you can answer that question. The religion that is best is the one that is best for you. Start checking out the different churches, synagogues, temples, etc. in your area. Do some research online. Go to the library and start reading religious texts. Ask questions continually. Somewhere along your spiritual journey, something will speak to your soul. That, my friend, will be the best religion for you.

Brown suga, i would say research yourself, read all the religious scriptures, ask God to sincerely guide you on to the straigth path. if a religion tells you 'just believe' then you know its not the truth it cannot answer all the questions that your soul was looking for. remember not to judge a religion on just its followers but its teachings and the ones whom brought the teachings. If the religion uses logic and uses scientific evidence then you know it is more likely to be the truth. All the best

Jehovah's Witnesses don't try to sell Bibles. We give our literature free to those who want it. People can donate money to benefit the world wide work of preaching if they want to, but it is not necessary. And we preach door to door because that is what Jesus told us to do in the Bible. He said to preach to everyone in the inhabited Earth and spread the good news about God's kingdom. And that is what we are doing. We are telling people from the Bible what is going to happen, the world is in a very bad state and God has a promise for those that would listen. If you are interested in learning more go to www.watchtower.org There are answers to many, many questions, and ALL of the answers come straight from the Bible. If you are looking for the true religion, then what better one to follow than one that comes directly from the Bible.

wiccan paganisim
Do your research and not from the church
You will find no which based relgious wars, no witch run inquisitions
No wiccan abuse factories like 'magdelen sisters'
Its the only religion that has equal rights for women with no sex hang ups and therefore only moral one...
It works with nature and is the nicest...
Those who say its bad have not a shred of evidence
Whilst there are daily bomobings in the name of middle eastern reglions... Abuse of young sexaully active couples and gays all the time by chrisitians etc
Buddism is fairly good but the idea of karm means in buddist countries are sometimes seen to think deformed and disabled kids deserve it for past life crimes.
Look up
Magdelen laundries
Magdelen sisters
inquisitions
witch burning
IRA
stoning
sharia law

You shouldn't have to CHOOSE a/or religion, its what you feel is right from within one self and what you generally believe to be true. Same with practising any form of religion, for instance you sit there with your storybook and cross and pray because you feel the need to do so.

Glad you have woken up, i hope you find Christianity, its beautiful. Be gentle it would be fabulous to know you have chosen to step out of this fantasy world so many of us live in.
As for conversion... it takes longer than you think it's not just about saying i'm a christian, praying occassoinally and going to church. I hope you can discover it, let God rescue you, but don't let go of yourself, be always on the 'search' for truth, the Lord will have mercy on you.
Let me know if you need any help. May God bless and keep you.

OK. First of all don't listen to people that say none. You need a church. Right down what is most importanted to you in a church. Then tour some church and go their on Sunday to see if you enjoy it. I think if you enjoy the church and believe what they believe, what religion you are don't matter. hope that helps.
