All religions are same - not entirely but basic structure reamins the same.

Staunch preachers - yes they are the ones who interprets certain things to their advantage and use othres to fulfil their own goals.

Take example of "triple talak" in Islam. In India it is used so frequently to abuse the women that even one husband and wife were seperated for 3 long years when in his sleep the husband uttered the word "talak" three times. The wife simply told her neighbours and neighbours the stauch leaders and they declared it valid.

With little bit knowledge of the same religion (I have quite a few friends from Islam religion, who are not from India) they all say that NO such provison is available in Islam.

So you are right its only leaders/preachers who have created this mess.

Sorry I personally do not believe in any religions, caste or creed or colour... I am preacher for me , you should be preacher for you...I don't believe, trust or even respect present days preachers, saints, babas, Gurus ,,,,,perhaps I am facing lot of problems due to my stand, however I feel that by following my own rules and regulations -not to hurt others and earn their curses, I will reach the Supreme God after my death,,, you know I am a Brahman and astrologer ...just imagine to survive in a country like India where a Brahmin and particularly an astrologer should be......

Logically all are same -- they all have some god almighty, some kind of heaven and hell.

It is fanaticism of some bigots that has turned some religions into monsters. The problem is that despite knowing the bads, people tend not to believe that they are bad. Because of these all religions in the world are now on one side and Muslims are on the other side.

It's probably more correct to say that there is only ONE supreme creator. Yes, there are so many different ways (religions) of worshiping/acknowledging this ?god(s). Each leader teaches that only his way is the right way. That's what casues world wars and such.

I just acknowledge a supreme and cut out the middleman. If we all just treated each other the way we'd like to be treated, this would be a perfect world to live in. In the end, that's all that matters.

At their very core, yes, all organized religions are essentially the same. They preach kindness, honor, sacrifice, stewardship, service and thanksgiving - they just have different ways of teaching these lessons. Some use different words to describe the same principles, and there are even different central figures.

There are of course, differences in worship services. Some are very devout and literal, some are more interpretive in their approach, but at their core, they're all different means to the same end.

That's what I've been saying all along.

It's not the religion. It's the religious leaders who f-u-c-k up the religion.

More spirituality and less dogma/indoctrination.

No more bashings because it's the believers that get hurt not the religious dumb a-s-s leaders.

All of us, at least a majority of us, believe in God. Except for the Buddhists and other eastern religions that practice self-improvement, but I digress...

Peace.

Religions are man trying to make his own rules and trying to get God to agree with them.
God wants to have a close personal relationship with each of us. Relationship with the creator of the universe is NOT religion.
Be careful who you listen to -- what ideas are put into your mind.
Jesus the Christ is the only way to the Father. You have to ask Him to come into your heart and help you and guide you. He has all the answers to every problem. We must humble ourselves and get rid of pride and arrogance. Seek the Lord while there is still time to do so. God is a good God -- He is LOVE -- He loves each person on this planet. We have to seek Him -- He is waiting with open arms. God is not the problem -- we are.

Christianity calls non-christians as "heathens". Islam calls non-inslamist as "kafirs". Therefore, both these religions propogate hatred towards others. Both these religionists follow the path of conversion agressively.

Hinduism and Judaism do not propogate hatred towards other religionists. People following these two religions do not propogate conversion.

Therefore, all the religions are not same.

All religions are not the same. Some religions instruct their followers to actively recruit converts and kill those who resist. Others do not seek out converts. To me, that's a pretty big difference.
