this is what a girl i like sent me, after i asked her how she felt. i know it sounds like a nice way of saying no, but her and her mom are really close, and she says shes just REALLY scared of ruining the friendship. What should i think she( the girl i like) is telling me, based on this email

hey,
well first of all, I don't hate you. second, I haven't been avoiding you either becuase its not been just swimming that I've been busy with its been life.I also haven't been beating around the bush because you never asked me if I did or not. But I haven't ever thought of being more than friends with you because we've always been good friends and I think thats how things should stay.I just don't want to ruin a friendship.hope you've had a good day, and i will talk to you later

I'm a 37 year old woman, and when a girl says she just wants to be friends and not ruin a friendship, she's right on the money. Value the friendship.

Dude, anyone in this situation would be trying to find some little, tiny morsel of hope, but it is just too obvious that this girl just wants to be friends. Find another girl to like and pursue her. It will help you take your mind off of contestant #1.

The girl knows what she wants and that is to just be friends with you, sorry but i think you should just except this and move on,you don't want to lose her as a friend and that's what will happen if you don't give her space.

That she's not sure if she's interested (leaning towards not) and if you keep emailing her trying to find out, you'll annoy her and she won't be.
