You can't - at least not with 100% probability. People lie - frequently. He may be lying and telling you he's virgin & not, or someone who says they "know" he isn't may be lying to hurt you or him. Even photographic/film can be doctored, so you can't be 100% sure.
However, just as a basis for thinking - if you don't feel you can trust his answer, you might want to think about how much of a relationship you want... and on the other hand, examine why the state of his virginity matters to you.... if it's a trust issue, if you're not comfortable trusting him over that, what else should you not trust him with (e.g. the rest of your life...).
Dishonesty and distrust can very easily kill a relationship. Both are fatal.

I reckon that 5 years without having sex must mean something - he's either gay or a virgin ... what normal redblooded male in this day and age would wait 5 years to have sex with his girlfriend?
But maybe he's also religious and wants to wait until you're married?

There is not really anyway of telling if a male is a virgin. If you have been together for 5 years now you should have learnt to communicate by now so my suggestions to you is ask him! Regardless of his answer, why would it make any difference? Sometimes past events are better left unsaid as it can sometimes cause friction.

You've been together 5 years so I'm assuming you should be pretty close emotionally. If you want to know, then ask him!
If you can't talk about sex with him, then I'd suggest that you're not ready to be having sex anyway.

why do u like to find out, u r been together for 5years, and you never knew, dnt try to know it, stil he is Ur boyfriend, virgin or not, is there will be any changes if you find out that he is a virgin or not. whats the point, as long as u love, care and trust each other, that's the most important thing

the only way you can know for sure is if you ask him. He could be waiting for marriage though since you have been with him for years and you havent had sex with him. If he had sex before.. there is a good chance he would have wanted to have sex by now.

Why does it matter? Maybe that is the question you should be asking. You two have been together five years. If you think he has been faithful up to now - what does it matter what he did before?

Pick up some interesting subjects of his choice and make bla-bla-bla.
Hug him -Sqeeze him and then clarify your doubt...

Why do you care ? Isn't the real issue whether he will be true to you ?
In answer to your question, there is no physical way to ascertain whether a guy is a virgin or not. (In truth, the presence or absence of a hyman is no longer absolutely determinative in females....) You can take his word or not.

Once you pop you don't stop. If he had had sex before he was 19 he would want to have had sex with you by now. i think it is safe to assume that he is a virgin.
