A rapist being castrated won't stop him from raping. Castrating a men just means to surgically removing his testicles and scrotum. No more balls. But he will still have a penis. SO he can pee. And he can still get an erection but can't ejaculate. I think there's a part of the brain that can be removed so those sexual and control issues are taken away and he won't have those urges anymore.

As a lot of Yahoo-ians feel, castration is not a solution. Castrating still produces the same instincts. The best solution would be to permanently damage the spinal chord so that below the chest no action could be performed, no motion, no leg motion and of course no erections!
The rapist surely will repent his 'good' days!!!
Logically, speaking, it is best the rapist be put to death, as there is no need for such a person in society. Such criminal minded wise-guys only fear death.

I think the entire Penal System needs to be overhauled. Reduced sentances are a norm instead of an exception. (why sentance them to 10 if they'll only serve 5?) As for rapists...yes...I do think those types needs some sort of deterrant (or insentive) not to commit the acts they commit. If a child molester or rapist knew they'd lose their genitals if they were ever caught and convicted.....I do believe they'd think twice.

Not only that, but after castration, his penis should be should be shoved down his throat! He should also be made to be gang raped by a few hundred wild horses! After that, put a bullet through his groin area!

i agree with you 100% they should get life for that horrendous crime!!! their victims have to live with that awful memory forever.
