I don't believe all religious people are ignorant, superstititious, unthinking morons. I believe they are part of a different belieft system that is incorrect, but they don't have the proper tools or have been encultured deeply into their unconcious to the point to justify even things that they may know most likely are unture.
One thing I hate is the group of atheists that call themselves the brights. They are nothing more than pretentious disrespectful people.
I like religious people. They tend to be good, honest, loving people that sadly have fallen victim to religion. Proof that they are thinkers is that they try to actively find ways to justify their religions shortcomings and ways to challenge opposing views. The unconcious is something that can affect even the smartest of minds.

Just this very morning I got a snotty e-mail from a typical religious bigot telling me to "shut my fat mouth" unless I can prove that god does not exist.
What does that tell you about why the stereotyping goes on unabated?

There are some religious fanatics out ther ewho have created a bad name for all the others out there who truly love their Godly relationship and thier creator.
