It may be too large, but he'll eat what he can.

Keep in mind that each food mix is formulated for the dietary needs of each specific bird. It may not have a balance of what your cockatiel needs. So it's not advisable.

I just depends on the bird- some birds will otrhers wont. Try it! There is no harm in trying, the only dofference between the 2 types is that larger parrots have larger beaks so they can eat harder food, cockitiels have smaller beaks, so it might be harder for them. Try it! There is alot more nutrutional value in parrot food thean there is in cockitiels food.

He won't eat enough of it to fill himself up. He will only be able to eat the smaller seeds and grains and not the larger pieces. Keep him on the tiel food and make sure to give him loads of fresh veggies and greens.

you can try but I have a feeling that once you realize how much of the good expensive things that are in there, he won't be able to open, and end up being tossed out,, you might be going back for a Superior cocktail mix.

NO!!!

It is much more fattening and has larger pieces so he may not be able to swallow it (birds can't chew) and he'll go hungry
