It's Sun which is the main object of Solar system. All other planets revolve around it becoz of it's attraction & CF. Since Sun attracts all the planets towards it in Solar system., sun is at the centre.

It is Solar System, because of Sun, only. Sun and its planet, makes the solar system. Then it is natural, that, Sun is the central figure.
