What is the best place to go on a honeymoon that has beautiful beaches and clear water, that won't cost a million dollars???

Fly into Cancun, rent a car, and go to the neighboring beaches. They are so much prettier and cheaper. Here is the site: http://www.mexicancaribbean.com/small_hotels/. Super-romantic. We figured we can do our dream honeymoon for $1500. Also, check out the beaches on the Caribbean like the ones in New Orleans. They are working hard to bring back tourism and giving great deals.

South Carolina, Folly Beach - beautiful beaches well cared for and this doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Had a great time there for vacation. My honeymoon was in Washington State and Vancouver BC so I did not have a beach wedding, but had a great time just the same.

Tulum, Mexico. It's also about a football-fields length away from the world's second largest barrier reef, so snorkling is excellent! The water is clearer than Playa del Carmen (less boats) but the beach is more natural (meaning the debris on the beach are tiny rocks and seaweed instead of garbage).

Where every you decide to go- make sure it's clean and eco freindly. I went to DR (in a Hilton) which was very cheap but I got very sick because the sewage runs right into the water there and they run the sewage over the fruits and vetagables to make them grow!! I was sooo sick, I was praying to god to just get me back to the USA! Be very careful of tropical places that are cheap cheap and ask them if they filter their water and if they are eco friendly!!!
It's worth a little extra money not to die or feel like your going to!!
Places like Mexico, Jamica, and all tropic 3 world countries have the same bad habits.
I heard Beaches and Sandels is a little more money but very clean.

Key West area of Florida. Or the Gulf coast of Texas. A lot of folks forget our country has some gorgeous, clear, stunning beaches.

I just got back from Barbados and you can have a wonderful time there for not too much money! my flight (return) was about £500 and the hotel was about £250 (I think)
or, you could try the Scilly isles, they are meant to be beautiful, sunny and warm.
I am also looking at Monaco for my honeymoon.

Ocracoke Island (Outer Banks, NC) is quiet, peaceful, easy to get to from anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic, and has been just been rated one of the top beaches.

Anywhere in the Caribbean has the water and the beaches - you just have to shop around for the good deal. Try Curacao it is not as popular these days but amazingly beautiful.

Sandals in Nassua, Bahamas - called the Grand Bahamian. It is absolutely gorgeous and everything is included in the price (including all your premium alcohol, food, etc), only couples are allowed, no children, and it is great. It's not to expensive depending on the time of year you go. Check it out -
